The fact that our gondola lift is operating all year round is a perfect evidence for Świeradów Zdrój being an ideal place for leisure and recreation. Izerskie Mountains provide excellent conditions not only for enthusiasts of sliding on sky powder, but also for those who want to enjoy the steep slopes and scenic glades when the snow comes off. This is a paradise for skiers, riders, bikers, hikers and Nordic walking fans. Additionally, for cyclists there is a competition named Bike Maraton organized, attracting around 1000 participants every year.

For hiking lovers, in turn, the trail from Stóg Izerski to Hala Izerska is mostly recommended. It is worth mentioning, that the glade is one of the darkest places in Poland, kept almost completely free of artificial light. Due to the fact that it is twenty times darker in there than in any other inhabited areas, you can see far more stars than anywhere else. It is exactly here  where the first and so far the only international dark sky preserve is located. With such an amazingly preserved natural nocturnal environment, truly magical bedtime stories can happen under the sky.
